Mobile AR Neuronavigation
SKIA Head

Accuracy of the Highest Standard

Choi, Jongwoo, et al. "Application of augmented reality using automatic markerless registration for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery." Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery 52.2 (2024): 246-251.
SKIA Head strives for the highest level of accuracy.
With 1.5 mm accuracy, surgeons can safely trust SKIA's augmented reality.
This new generation of neuronavigation is packed into a mobile, compact device,
making it accessible anywhere in the hospital.
SKIA Face has been approved by the Korean FDA (KMFDS).
SKIA Head is currently pending FDA 510(k) clearance and is not available for sale.

Plan Your Surgery
SKIA provides your own DICOM viewer to view and plan your surgery. It is equipped with automatic and powerful tools that help you make the best clinical decisions before going into surgery. SKIA Processor is essential to construct 3D models of skin, bone, organs, and blood vessels.

3D Modeling
SKIA can provide an additional bespoke service that uses AI-based auto-segmentation and manual expertise to create the most detailed 3D mapping of intracranial blood vessels. This process takes less than 2 hours, but it is recommended that the DICOM is to be uploaded 2 business days in advance.

Easy Registration
SKIA's AI-integrated matching system allows the registration to be under 5 seconds. Simply scan the patient, and the AI will analyze the environment in real-time and register the patient. The learning curve is extremely short thanks to the power of SKIA's artificial intelligence.

See Beyond the Surface
SKIA's augmented reality allows you to dive deep into the patient's anatomy. The mobile nature of SKIA's device allows you to look around the patient quickly. You can also highlight specific arteries/veins to only view the critical and relevant information.

Real-time Planning
SKIA also provides an option to quickly set and adjust your surgical planning on the spot. Real-time AR planning allows you to more easily visualize whether the approach is the most optimal. Even less experienced surgeons can easily see if the planned approach will interfere with any critical vessels.
AREM Navigation
SKIA presents the newest innovation in neuronavigation: AREM Navigation.
With the integration of AR, AI, and EM, surgeons can now take advantage of both AR and EM.
Design and follow your best approach with real-time feedback.
